Background

My name is Frank Kromann-Pedersen and I’m the founder of Evidence Culture. I have a background in aviation flying as a commercial pilot since 2005 in both small airlines and some of Europe’s largest airlines. Since 2013 I have been working as an instructor as well.

I have developed teaching material and held different types of courses, especially many CRM courses (Crew Resource Management). The main focus has been dealing with competencies, communication and teamwork.

Another focus area has been to develop the whole culture of the company, and so Just Culture with it’s evidence based approach has been implemented og developed throughout the years. Today Just Culture is one of the cornerstones in this airline. First hand I have experienced how Just Culture has added value significantly because of a higher level of focus on accountability in the company culture.

I am convinced  that the principles of Just Culture will benefit other lines of work outside of aviation making them more safe, productive, cost efficient – making positive numbers on the bottom line.
